Hurney shines as Deise crush feeble Kilkenny

Waterford 0-21 Kilkenny 0-2

Waterford claimed their first victory of the NFL campaign as they trounced Kilkenny at a rain-drenched Fraher Field on Saturday evening.

Waterford made a number of changes to the team which lost to Clare last weekend and at the break held a 0-16 to 0-1 lead. Gary Hurney bagged eight scores.
