Horan on lookout for new Mayo coach

MAYO boss James Horan is determined to appoint a new coach for his Connacht champions as soon as possible.

Horan is already in the process of assembling a new management team after his selectors Paul Jordan and Martin Connolly both decided to step down from their positions.

Horan stressed that it does not matter where the new coach comes from once they are good enough and he also praised the work that both departing men had done over the last year.

"We're looking for the very best coach out there, someone with ambition, drive and a desire to succeed," said Horan.
