At the third time of asking, and after another titanic struggle, Tralee CBS got the better of Colaiste Chriost Rí.
Playing for the third consecutive week, a dream start for Tralee proved to be the difference in sending them through to the decider against defending champions St Brendan's College, Killarney.
Tralee were faster out of the blocks and 1-1 inside the opening three minutes from Tom Hoare gave the victors a lead they would never lose and they led by 1-4 to 0-3 at half-time.
Chriost Rí lost leading marksman Cillian Myers-Murray in the 40th minute to a black card.
Tralee boss Marc Ó Sé, the five-time All-Ireland medal winner, said: "Two great teams went at it over the last three weeks, something like Dublin and Meath in 1991, and it was great football from both."
