Galway or Roscommon face quick turnaround

Galway or Roscommon are facing a six-day turnaround between their Connacht final replay and a fourth round qualifier unless an already much-changed programme is further amended.
The replay was originally announced for next Saturday in Castlebar but was changed yesterday after Mayo were drawn at home for their Round 3 qualifier clash with Kildare.
The game, which will be shown on Sky Sports, will be played in MacHale Park on Saturday evening (7.0), with the Galway-Roscommon replay taking place on Sunday (3.0) at the same venue.
The Ulster and Leinster finals are also on Sunday's menu.
The losers of the Galway-Roscommon game are due to play a Round 4 qualifier (v Sligo/Clare or Cavan/Derry) on Saturday week although in the circumstances, it might be put back by 24 hours.
Provincial runners-up playing six days later have a very poor record in the qualifiers, which was one of the reasons the 'back door' format was changed.
However, last Sunday's draw has complicated matters and will leave Galway or Roscommon with little time to recover after losing the Connacht final.
