Galvin a doubt for Cork tie
PAUL Galvin has emerged as a major doubt for Kerry's Munster final clash with Cork after missing the county's challenge against Laois on Saturday.
The half-forward sat out the game along with Kieran Donaghy who did not train all last week after picking up a minor knock playing for club side Austin Stacks last weekend.
Galvin (right) is believed to have torn his hamstring and his chances of participating in the Killarney clash appear slim. Seamus Scanlon has returned to training for the Kingdom, but despite Anthony Maher and Bryan Sheehan struggling against the Laois pair of Colm Begley and Brendan Sheehan in the win at Newcastlewest, he is unlikely to be rushed back for the Cork match.
Another struggling county star is Marc O Se who sat out West Kerry's championship win over St Brendan's on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Dublin hurler David Treacy will undergo a scan this morning on the hamstring injury he picked up in the win over Galway.
The corner-forward has struggled with injury all season and he lasted just six minutes after coming on as a second-half sub in Tullamore.
