Former All Star Kevin McCloy wakes up in hospital and asks: 'Who won the match?'

Former Derry captain Kevin McCloy has awoken in hospital after he collapsed during a club game on Wednesday night.

The 35-year-old collapsed on the pitch during the second round of the Derry GAA championship in Owenbeg and was immediately rushed to hospital in Altnagelvin.

His team, Erin's Own, in Lavey, of which he is the captain, was playing against Magherfelt.

Former Armagh great tweeted Jarlath Burns some very good news this morning about the teak-tough defender.

"Kevin McCloy wakens up and first question 'Who won the match'? Brilliant news!!," he posted.
