Offaly minors sealed a date with Laois in the Leinster semi-final with an excellent display to see off Wexford in Tullamore yesterday.

Offaly took the game by the scruff of the neck in the last 15 minutes of the opening half,

Midfielder Micheal Mooney led the way, kicking three points during this spell while the dynamic inside forward duo of Conor Lynam and Cian Johnson were also on song.

The home side went in cruising at 0-11 to 0-3 at the break.

Thirty seconds after the interval, Wexford's Jamie Myler fired the ball to the net but Offaly staved off the Wexford revival.
