Jim Gavin's forward options for Dublin's All-Ireland semi-final against Kerry have been increased after Eoghan O'Gara was cleared to play following his sending off against Donegal.
O'Gara was shown a straight red card after a clash with Neil McGee, although replays showed that the Dublin forward made light contact with McGee's torso with an open hand.
The CCCC found that the action of 'striking with the hand' wasn't proven following a hearing, with O'Gara's offence now reclassified as a yellow card.
Dublin take on Kerry at Croke Park on August 28th, with Mayo facing Tipperary in the first football semi-final this Sunday.
