The draft fixture list for the 2017 competition reveals that Dublin will be on the road in four of their seven group games, with trips to Kerry, Donegal and Monaghan also on the cards.

Jim Gavin's side are fixed to face one of the two newly-promoted sides on the first Sunday in February in Kingspan Breffni Park.

In March, the Dubs return to Killarney where they last lost a competitive match, 18 months ago.

The 2017 football league sees the end of the three-week break after the second round, and there is an earlier start for the hurling league.

Meanwhile James McCarthy's shoulder injury, sustained in the semi-final win over Kerry, hasn't sidetracked him as Dublin finalise their preparations for Sunday's All-Ireland final with Mayo.

McCarthy  had his arm in a sling after the Kerry game.

The Ballymun man has had an injury-interrupted championship after jarring a medial ligament prior to the Leinster final win.
