Daly and O'Sullivan take Munster railway reins

Munster's hurlers will have a star-studded backroom team for the Railway Cup in manager Anthony Daly and selectors Tommy Dunne and John Mullane.

Daly's side will meet Leinster on December 5, with the winners playing Connacht/Ulster the following day in the final.

Meanwhile, the footballers will be managed by Cork's Gerry O'Sullivan, who is assisted by Limerick great John Galvin and Kerry's Tommy Griffin.

Elsewhere, Glenn Ryan has been appointed as manager of his native club Round Towers after failing in his quest to become Kildare manager, while Athenry will host Sunday week's Galway's SHC final.
