Conway seals deal for Aodháin

An Adam Conway goal in the 51st minute proved decisive as Scoil Aodháin from Whitehall edged out St Joseph's, Rochfortbridge in the second round of the Leinster Post Primary Schools SFC.

The Dubliners had the aid of the breeze in the first half but it was Joseph's who hit points from Jamie Rooney and Ned Cully. Paddy Small and James Doran shone as Scoil Aodháin led 0-7 to 0-4 at the break.

Scoil Aodháin were three points to the good (0-10 to 0-7) when Cian Gerrard teed up Conway for his goal. Jonathan Moore, James Goonery and Sean Lyster kept Joseph's in it, but Small had the final say.
