Conlon sets up Tyrone romp
TYRONE minors stormed into the semi-finals with a clinical demolition job on Kerry at Croke Park on Saturday, WRITES JACKIE CAHILL.
The Ulster champions looked ominously good as they set up a semi-final meeting with Mayo on August 22.
Two first-half goals in three minutes from Harry Óg Conlon and Michael Donaghy provided the platform for victory; they led by 2-6 to 0-4 at half-time and kept the Kingdom at arm's length throughout the second half.
