Carlow count cost of missed chances

LEITRIM scored a goal in each half to edge out a wasteful Carlow side at Dr Cullen Park yesterday.

Carlow will reflect on the litany of missed chances late in the game when they were within a point of their opponents.

The visitors swept upfield in injury time and full-forward James Glancy punished Carlow as he slotted a 40-metre free to ensure victory.
