A close-range free from captain Ben Brennan late in added time won Meath champions St Colmcille's the title after a pulsating game at Pairc Tailteann on Saturday.
The game looked set for extra-time with scores level as the clock ticked over 60 minutes. But in a final twist, Graham Reilly was hauled down, resulting in a black card for Declan Mullen and the winning score.
Both sides enjoyed spells of dominance with the Westmeath men ahead twice in the second half before being outscored three points to one in the final minutes.
Rosemount led when Dude McCormack fielded a high delivery and hit the ball to the Cille's net on 37 minutes, but it was short-lived as Reilly shot an equaliser before Brennan pointed a free.
Rosemount's restored their advantage with two quick frees but Cille's grabbed it back before Brennan kept his cool to slot over the winning point right at the death.
