Wexford delivered a strong second-half performance to see off a robust Limerick challenge at Innovate Wexford Park.

The visitors had the better of early exchanges and led 0-5 to 0-2, but Wexford finished the half stronger kicking four unanswered points, after Danny Neville had extended the visitors' lead, through Ciaran Lyng, Colm Kehoe, Eoghan Nolan and a PJ Banville free to tie the sides at 0-6 each.

Wexford began the second-half well and led 0-10 to 0-7 by the 53rd minute.

They looked comfortable until Neville punched in a 66th-minute goal to leave just a point between the sides, but late points from Tiernan Rossiter and a Banville free clinched the game.
