Armagh eye future as McGuinness eyes the bigger picture

It was fascinating to watch Donegal and Armagh's tussle in last weekend's All-Ireland quarter-final.

Whatever about the media ban, Armagh manager Paul Grimley certainly had his players do their talking on the pitch. And with Kieran McGeeney set to take over from Grimley, Armagh will be a team to watch in 2015. Of the teams left standing in the championship, Michael Murphy is absolutely indispensable to his side.

He must be one of the strongest footballers in the game - he has an incredible work-rate and is everything a manager would want in his skipper. What was also interesting was the reaction of Jim McGuinness when the havoc 'n' handbags broke out.

As others lost their cool, McGuinness stood with his arms folded and took it all in. Always keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
