Andy Moran is relishing an All Ireland final replay against Dublin and insists that Stephen Rochford's men will finish the job when the sides meet again on October 1.

Mayo showed great character to, firstly, peg back a five-point half-time deficit and then to claw back a three-point margin in stoppage time after an enthralling All Ireland final in Croke Park.

Moran missed a great goal chance in the second half when he fired a close-range effort over the bar but he is confident that Mayo can dethrone the All Ireland champions in 13 days' time.

"I think we came out in the second half and showed what we can do," said Moran to RTE after today's draw.

"We showed good character and we move on. Same as last year in the semi final. Would we have taken a draw with three minutes to go? Certainly. Could we have won the game? Most certainly. I missed a chance for a goal.

"On conditions like that, on All Ireland final day, we weren't given a chance. We came up here, we have drawn the game and we will be ready for next week.

"We proved time and time again that we are a good team. We will come again next week and hopefully we can put them under a bit more pressure and finish off the job."
