Andy McEntee has been confirmed as the new Meath football manager.

McEntee guided Ballyboden St Enda's to their first-ever All Ireland club championship this year and replaces Mick O'Dowd who stepped down following the Royal's defeat to Derry in July.

Gerry McEntee, Donal Curtis and Finian Murtagh have been named as McEntee's selectors.

McEntee will continue to manage Ballyboden in their All Ireland title defence, the club have confirmed.
