Defending All-Ireland champions Corofin (Galway) kept their title defence well and truly on track with a 13-point victory over Leitrim champions Mohill in the Connacht SFC quarter-final.

Nemo Rangers are Cork Football champions after they edged past Castlehaven by two points in a pulsating replay.

In hurling, Na Piarsaigh (Limerick) came out on top in the battle of the big guns in Munster when they beat Sixmilebridge (Clare) by two points.

Na Piarsaigh were nine points down in the first half but they produced a stirring comeback to advance to the Munster semi-final.

Thurles Sarsfields will provide the opposition for Na Piarsaigh after they pipped Éire Óg by a point in an exciting Tipperary final at Semple Stadium.

Clara are Kilkenny hurling champions after they held off the challenge of O'Loughlin Gaels to record a two-point victory at Nowlan Park: 2-12 to 1-13.
