Frontrunner for the new presenting role is Sky Sport's News presenter and Irish Independent columnist Rachel Wyse.

Bookmaker Paddy Power last night installed former Dublin legend Kevin Moran and recently retired Paul Galvin as favourites to land a football analyst role at 6/5. Others in contention include Anthony Tohill, Ciaran Whelan, Padraig Joyce, Graham Canty, Tomas O Se and Graham Geraghty.
