Coalisland goalkeeper Johnny Curran pulled off a stunning stoppage-time save to the Tyrone champions' semi-final place.

He pushed a Liam Lynch screamer onto the crossbar as Roslea pushed for a late leveller.

In a scrappy game, referee Ciaran Branagan handed out 11 yellow cards and two reds, with both sides reduced to 14 in the closing stages. Fermanagh champions Roslea depended heavily on the Quigley brothers for scores, with Seamus and Sean hitting their entire tally.

Coalisland eased into a two-point lead by the ninth minute, with quick-fire scores from Stephen Curran and Plunkett Kane.

Seamus Quigley opened Roslea's account from a 40-metre free in the 13th minute, and he added a wonderful point from play three minutes later.

Coalisland went back in front in the 19th minute, with 'keeper Curran the unlikely source, drilling a '45' confidently between the posts.

Roslea had scores from the Quigley brothers to go in front for the first time.

Right on the stroke of half-time, Coalisland grabbed a rather fortunate goal. Philip Toner's delivery was fumbled by 'keeper Sean Boyle, and Tiarnan O'Hagan booted to the net from close range.

Coalisland led by 1-3 to 0-4 at the break, and extended the advantage with a bright start to the second half. But the Erne men got themselves right back in contention with a 36th-minute goal from Sean Quigley, who challenged with 'keeper Curran to punch to the net from his brother Seamus' delivery.

Peter McGinnity's men tagged on points through Seamus Quigley, one a superb '45', to go ahead at the beginning of the final quarter.

But they were reduced to 14 men on 56 minutes when centre-forward Niall Cassidy received a second yellow card.

Coalisland took advantage, hitting five of the final six scores, despite losing wing-back Stephen McNally to a second booking.

They had gone three points clear as the game slipped into stoppage-time, and then came that late drama, with Curran saving his side with that dramatic late stop.
