Tyrone and Down will meet for a third time on Saturday after their quarter-final replay finished level after extra-time at Healy Park.
Kyle Coney equalised for Tyrone in stoppage-time to send the game into extra-time -- and then Down's Paul Devlin converted a late free to earn his side a rematch.
Down finished the first half strongly to go in at the break with a 1-5 to 0-5 lead, and went four points clear on the restart, but Tyrone battled back and Coney's 40-metre free tied it up at 0-11 to 1-8 at the end of normal time.
Tyrone's John McCullagh was sent off in extra-time for a second booking, before sub Devlin booked a third clash between the sides.
