Reidy quits Kerry panel

GAELIC GAMES: Ger Reidy, a top contender to take over from Diarmuid Murphy as Kerry's No 1 goalkeeper, has left the panel.

The 24 year-old wishes to concentrate on his studies. He played against Dublin in the NFL first round, but was replaced by Brendan Kealy for the game against Cork. Kealy retained his place for last Sunday's clash with Derry, during which he brought off a spectacular first-half save.
