O'Leary puts Rebels into overdrive
Cork cruised to a final meeting with old rivals Kerry after dismissing Tipperary at Pairc Ui Rinn.
Cork's Michael O'Leary was their star turn, manag-ing to kick three fine points while running the game from midfield.
O'Leary was ably assisted by Mark Collins, who bagged 0-8 and always kept Tipp's rearguard on their toes.
Cork raced into a five-point lead early on, only to be pegged back by a Donagh Leahy goal on 10 minutes.
The Rebels responded well and again opened up a five-point gap, before the visitors goaled once more on the stroke of half-time.
Cork led by three at the break (0-10 to 2-1) and then went into overdrive in the second period, racking up another 11 points.
