Narrow victory for Leitrim

Leitrim secured the narrowest of wins over neighbours Longford with a Colm Clarke point in the 66th minute after a tight contest at Carrick-on-Shannon.
Longford led by 0-8 to 0-6 at half-time after Francis McGee converted six frees for Glenn Ryan's men in the first 35 minutes.
Leitrim levelled in the opening six minutes of the second half with points from sub Ronan Kennedy and Michael Foley. The teams exchanged scores to the finish, until Clarke's effort secured the win.
