Murphy's law rules in Carlow victory

Brian Murphy and JJ Smith fired second-half goals as Carlow made hard work of beating London at Ruislip.
Murphy pounced three minutes after the restart to reflect the Barrowsiders' dominance. Then, after John Murphy had missed a penalty, Smith's late effort ensured a victory that should have been much more substantial.
Carlow were by far the better side, but a poor conversion rate kept London in it. The Exiles twice moved in front early on through Mark Gottsche and Lloyd Colfer, but a high error count didn't help as Carlow led by 0-4 to 0-2 at half-time. They soon put the game beyond London as Ed Finnegan found Murphy for an easy finish.
