McCabe pulls strings to inspire Fermanagh

Fermanagh 0-11 Clare 0-8

Shane McCabe joined the Fermanagh squad ahead of the league campaign after quitting Irish League soccer club Portadown, and Erne fans will be happy he did as the diminutive Belcoo man was instrumental in this victory.

Clare had been on top, but with Paul Ward starting to get on the end of McCabe's pinpoint deliveries and Seamus Quigley hitting six points, the Erne men claimed the spoils.
