Laois can derail royal roller-coaster

WITH Dublin rebuilding, there was great optimism in Meath that they could capitalise by landing a Leinster title this year.

That enthusiasm must have been dealt a bit of a blow last Sunday. The fear for Meath going into tomorrow's replay is the obvious potential for improvement in Laois, who showed great heart last week.

They have also probably found their best starting 15 and that could make life more difficult for Meath, who dominated for long spells last week.

O'Connor Park is a much tighter pitch than Croker and that would suit Meath, but it's going to be another roller-coaster and my gut is telling me Laois could pull off a shock win.
