ARMAGH battled back from nine points down with 20 minutes remaining to somehow salvage a draw with Wexford in their Division Two at the Athletic Grounds.
The Orchard county have substitute Gavin McPartland to thank for a share of the spoils after he netted a rare hat-trick.
Wexford could not have dreamed of a better start.
Ben Brosnan opened the scoring before Paddy Byrne goal was followed up by a Redmond Barry penalty and a Shane Roche three-pointer.
A shell-shocked Armagh hit back with a goal through substitute Gavin McPartland but still trailed 3-3 to 1-1 at the break.
Ben Brosnan and Stefan Forker bith traded two points apiece as Wexford maintained their eight point lead.
Both sides continued to trade scores before McPartland completed a hat-trick to reduce Wexford's lead to three points.
Barry Loughran and Forker added three more points for the Orchard men to draw the sides level and that's how it finished.
