Fulham nets hat-trick for Dubs

DUBLIN 4-15
WESTMEATH 0-8

Dublin advanced to the quarter-finals after a comfortable 19-point win over Westmeath at Parnell Park on Saturday afternoon.

The visitors settled well through early points by David Whelehan and David McCormack, but Dublin assumed control from the 11th minute after Scott Fulham raced clear to fire home his side's first goal.

Fulham grabbed a second goal two minutes before the break, availing of an error by Westmeath goalkeeper Darren Brady, to see the Dubs lead 2-10 to 0-4 at the interval.

They extended their lead in the 38th minute when Jack McCaffrey goaled with a rising shot from 14 metres.

Westmeath's fate was sealed on 45 minutes as Fulham notched his third goal from Ciaran Kilkenny's clever flick.
