Fitzgerald's fitness race

Corofin manager Gerry Keane fears former All Star Kieran Fitzgerald will be unavailable for the Connacht club final on Sunday week.
The Galway defender missed Sunday's semi-final win over Glencar/Manorhamilton with a hamstring injury and faces a race against time to be fit for the final against Charlestown.
But Keane is hopeful top scorer Alan O'Donovan, who also missed Sunday's 2-13 to 0-9 win over the Leitrim champions, will be back.
"It would be great to have the two lads back as we will face a very tough challenge from Charlestown," said Keane.
"I reckon Alan has a good chance of recovering but this game could be coming too soon for Kieran. He will do everything he can to play but it's a long shot."
Fitzgerald, an All-Ireland winner in 2001, suffered a hamstring tear in a league game last month. O'Donovan suffered ankle ligament damage in the drawn county final against Mountbellew/Moylough.
