FERMANAGH look set to seek financial support for having to travel to London again for their refixed Division 4 game against the Exiles.

Peter Canavan's side flew to London on Saturday, but heavy snowfall through the night left the pitch unplayable and the game was called off by 10.30 on Sunday morning. Numerous flights out of the city were cancelled on Sunday morning but Fermanagh's scheduled flight at 7.45 that evening went ahead as normal.

The Erne men now face another expensive trip, and county secretary Tom Boyle indicated yesterday that they will discuss their options once Croke Park gives them a date for the refixture.

It is believed that February 19 and April 21/22 are the two options being discussed.

The weekend of February 18/19 is free of NFL fixtures because it has been set aside for All-Ireland club semi-finals and the inter-provincials, but if any of Fermanagh's players were called up by Ulster then that date would be ruled out. The weekend of April 14/15 is free for most football teams but that already includes the final round of Division 4, and the Fermanagh/ London game could yet go to the following weekend, April 21.
