Dubs may not start Brogan
Pat Gilroy will unveil his first Dublin championship team of the season next Wednesday with much speculation that Alan Brogan may not start.
Brogan is recovering well from a hamstring injury ahead of the Wexford quarter-final, but that won't guarantee a start for Dublin's top forward over the last decade.
Brogan figured in just one league match, the final round win over Tyrone in Omagh. So far, Gilroy has declined to name a championship squad because of the number of injuries they currently have. Paul Flynn and Cian O'Sullivan are among the main doubts ahead of the Wexford game.
Mossie Quinn is among those back in contention for places in the squad after he missed the entire league with a foot injury.
Quinn gave a positive prognosis yesterday on the injury, sustained during training at the end of January.
"It was just one of those things. It could have happened on grass, it could have happened anywhere.
"The surgeon actually told me it was innocuous the way it happened, but he said there was probably a stress fracture there and it was just waiting to go," he said.
