Dooher back training but doubts remain over his Tyrone future
Brian Dooher's lengthy inter-county career is still not certain to continue, Tyrone manager Mickey Harte revealed yesterday.
Harte revealed that his captain is back training on his own, but that his plans to remain a Tyrone player "are still under review.
"He's started training on his own, but it's early days," said Harte.
Harte also revealed that four players from the one club, Moy, are suffering from ankle injuries and won't be back until the end of February at the earliest.
Sean Cavanagh, Philip Jordan, Colm Cavanagh and Ryan Mellon won't play any part in the NFL for Tyrone until March.
Meanwhile, Club Tyrone will make a presentation in Stormont on Monday next seeking funding for their £6.7m Garvaghey development that entails five sand based pitches, a 4G all-weather pitch and changing and support facilities.
Club Tyrone representatives will be accompanied by director general Paraic Duffy in their quest for up to up to £1m in funding.
