Daly in race for hot seat

The contest to be the next GAA president will be between three candidates after Donegal's Tom Daly accepted the backing of his own county convention, WRITES COLM KEYS.

Daly was Ulster Council president until February when he was replaced by Aogan Farrell.

Liam O'Neill, who lost the 2008 election, is the front runner, with Tipp's Con Hogan also set to contest the position at Congress next April.
