Crokes unveil experienced Carr as new manager

Kilmacud Crokes have appointed former Louth manager Paddy Carr to take charge of their senior team this season.

In a break with tradition, Crokes went outside the club and indeed, the county, to procure the Meath-based coach.

The new manager has played underage football at Glenalbyn in the past before moving from Dubl;in to his adopted county.

Carr, who takes over from Nicky McGrath, managed Louth for two years

(2002-03) and was coach to the Meath minors last year. He has managed club teams in Meath and Louth.
