KILMACUD Crokes and Ballyboden St Enda's must do it all again after 80 minutes of football couldn't separate them in their Dublin SFC semi-final replay at Parnell Park. The second replay is set for next Tuesday night at the same venue.

A poor first half was overshadowed by a pulsating final quarter and a very tense 20 minutes of extra-time. All-Ireland club champions Kilmacud were guilty of 19 wides and, by rights, should have been punished for this wastefulness.

The game finally came to life in the final 15 minutes, when Cian O'Sullivan netted for Crokes and Michael MacAuley replied for the challengers, both scrappy goals.

Tense

From then until the final whistle, the affair was tight and tense, with Mark Vaughan and Conal Keaney trading points. Kenny Naughton thought he had won it for Ballyboden, but Declan Kelleher sneaked one over the bar to send the game into extra-time.

Three minutes into the extra-time, Andrew Kerin had a gilt-edged chance to give 'Boden a healthy lead, but he somehow managed to hit the bottom of the left post twice and put his third effort on goal wide.

There was one point in the first 10 minutes from Pat Burke, with Keaney replying from a free to leave the scores deadlocked again 1-09 to 1-09.

Adrian Morrissey got his second of the day to give Crokes some hope of progressing, but Keaney led the line again and slotted over to leave the scores 1-10 apiece.
