Crawford talks way into cul de sac
SEAMUS McEnaney has a pretty thick skin (all managers need it!) but he will, no doubt, have noted that remarks from Meath's Nigel Crawford could only be interpreted in one way -- a direct hit at the boss.
Crawford reckons that Meath have gone back from where they were this time last year and claims that the change of management has had a lot to do with it. Pointedly, he says the players had a very good relationship with previous manager Eamonn O'Brien.
"We were building a team and going in the right direction," said Crawford. Does this mean he believes Meath are not now building a team and not going in the right direction? Over to you, Banty.
