Cork put forward case for defence

DEFENDING champions Cork have all six defenders who started last year's All-Ireland final for the clash with Armagh. Nicholas Murphy partners Alan O'Connor in midfield but Paddy Kelly and Donncha O'Connor miss out through injury up front.

Kerry have beefed up their side for game against Down, with Colm Cooper, Tomas O Se and Tom O'Sullivan returning. Eoin Brosnan has been shifted to midfield to replace injured David Moran and Killian Young has moved to centre-back.

Galway are unchanged from the side that beat Armagh last week while Louth have made seven changes to face Waterford. They'll be without the injured Shane Lennon but feature Darren Clarke for the first time this year.

Laois have brought in Eoin Culleton and Niall Donoher for their clash with Donegal.
