Cork first up for Dubs

THE DUBLIN County Board have confirmed details of their Spring Series, which will see Jim Gavin's footballers play five league games at Croke Park.

There will be just one double-header with Anthony Daly's hurlers, when they take on Limerick and the footballers welcome Tyrone to HQ on Saturday, March 16.

The Dublin footballers will also share the bill on February 2, when Kildare face Donegal as the curtain-raiser to their clash with Cork.

Stand tickets for all five dates at Croke Park have been priced at €50 for adults and €15 for juveniles. There is no concession for Hill 16 tickets for juveniles. Single match tickets start at €13 for adults and €5 for juveniles.

Tickets are available from Dublin GAA Clubs, www.gaa.ie/tickets, selected Supervalu and Centra stores and the GAA ticket office on Dorset Street on the weeks of matches only.

Spring Series fixtures

Saturday, February 2: Kildare v Donegal, 5.15, Dublin v Cork 7.0. Saturday, March 2: Dublin v Mayo 7.0.

Sunday, March 10: Kildare v Dublin 2.0.

Saturday, March 16: Dublin SH v Limerick 5.15, Dublin SF v Tyrone 7.0. Saturday, March 23: Dublin v Down 7.0.
