Begorrah we're a 'drab' nation

Try this for comical stereotyping in a programme article for Ireland v Australia: "Ireland is a nation where drab, grey houses are enlivened by garishly coloured front doors; it is as if a splash of colour brightens a land constantly enshrouded by mist and drizzle."
"An inter-county match of Gaelic football or hurling is not so much a game as an experience. It begins with much excited anticipation in the pub. It goes through a reflective phase that acknowledges Irish sport and Irish nationalism." Begorrah, there's no answer to that.
