Former USPGA champion John Daly created quite a stir in Nashville over the weekend and it wasn't over his singing.
Youtube user Pearce Harrison noticed a man lying on his back outside a pizze place in Nashville and feared the worst.
When he got closer to the scene he realised that the man had a golf tee in his mouth and John Daly was preparing to hit a golf ball off it in the middle of Nashville.
Daly swung with his familar style and swept his club about an inch over the man's face for a perfect drive.
Daly is known for generating a very fast club-head speed on his downswing which made the punter's position more precarious if he had taken a divot rather than strike sweetly.
In March 2008, Daly's swing coach Butch Harmon quit, saying that "the most important thing in his life is getting drunk" and he was arrested later that year after being found drunk outside a Hooters restaurant.
Thankfully for Daly and this man, he hasn't touched a drop since.
