Sizing Europe is likely to kick off yet another campaign by bidding for a hat-trick in the PWC Champion Chase at Gowran Park.
The seven-times Grade One winner appeared as good as ever in winning his first four starts last season, but was firmly put in his place by jump racing's newest superstar Sprinter Sacre in the Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham and at the Punchestown Festival.
Sizing Europe's trainer Henry de Bromhead is looking forward to seeing his 11-year-old return to competitive action at Gowran Park on October 5.
De Bromhead said: "He'll hopefully run in the race at Gowran, in early October, over two-and-a-half that he has won for the past two years.
"He's back in now and is starting off steadily."
Another horse de Bromhead has recently welcomed back into the fold is long-term absentee Loosen My Load.
The eight-times winner has not been seen since running at Punchestown in May 2012 and is set to go down the hunter chase route this season.
"He got hurt last year but is good now and we'll start him off in September in some of the good hunter chases," said de Bromhead.
"I think he'll be a nice horse for those races."
