Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has emerged as a shock £45m target for Paris Saint-Germain, with the French champions set to lose forwards Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani this summer.
The Daily Mail have reported that the Ligue 1 side will watch Sturridge next Tuesday night, when England take on Holland at Wembley Stadium.
Sturridge has scored two goals in his last three Liverpool games, having returned from a serious hip injury. PSG are currently seeking a striker, with both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani set to depart at the end of the season.
Cavani and Ibrahimovic have been linked with moves to China. Reports from this morning stated that Ibrahimovic will be offered a staggering €75m by the Chinese government to move to the devoloping China Super League. Ibrahimovic has also been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal and Manchester United touted as possible destinations.
Liverpool are next in action against Tottenham Hotspur on 2 April, when the Premier League returns after the international break.
