Can Donegal halt Dublin’s record of 25 consecutive wins in League and Championship?

Máire Treasa Ní Dhubhghaill chatted with Ciarán Whelan about the intriguing Dublin vs Donegal All-Ireland Quarter Final.

With Paddy McBrearty in scintillating form at the moment, reminding Whelan of Bernard Brogan in his 2010 pomp, and Dublin susceptible under the high ball, Donegal will come into this match quietly confident of upsetting the reigning champions.

Donegal have previously upset fancied Dublin teams in the past, most notably of course their 3-14 to 0-17 win over the Dubs in the 2014 All-Ireland Final. However, Whelan believes that, with many of the Donegal team over 30, Donegal might struggle to match Dublin’s pace and hunger for victory.
