Arsenal reopen talks with Real Madrid over signing striker Alvaro Morata
Arsenal have reopened talks with Champions League winners Real Madrid over signing striker Alvaro Morata.
Morata has been on Arsenal’s radar for some time and the Emirates club made an enquiry over the 21-year-old in January.
Real are understood to be willing to negotiate on Morata, but the Spaniards ideally want a buy-back agreement on the highly-rated Spaniard.
It is understood Real want the option of taking Morata back to the Bernabeu in the first two years of his contract at another club.
Juventus are interested in taking Morata on loan to Italy, while Tottenham have also been tracking him.
Spurs tried to include Morata in the deal that saw Gareth Bale sign for Real last summer, but eventually settled for a straight cash transfer.
Arsenal deputy goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is expected to complete a free transfer move to Swansea.
