Former Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson will be promoting his new biography in Dublin this November.

While the cover of Ferguson's highly anticipated memoirs have been released today, he will be making a trip to Ireland for a special conversation analysing his book.

On November 8th, Mr Ferguson will appear at the Convention Centre for a special conversation with Eamonn Holmes.

The book, simply entitled 'Alex Ferguson: My Autobiography', is being released in October and the legendary football manager will be taking to Glasgow, London, Aberdeen and Dublin for his promotional tour.

"His memoirs are described as one that "will reflect on his almost 27 years at Manchester United. It is a story that promises to reveal, entertain and inspire."

Fans have anticipated its arrival for several months, after he announced his retirement in May.

The new book will tell Ferguson's life story, from his very early days in Govan, to his final game in charge of Manchester United.

It is believed that he received an advance in the region of €2.1 million for the rights to his autobiography by publishers Hodder & Stoughton.
