Snowflakes could be set for a trip to Royal Ascot after despite Aidan O'Brien's filly being well beaten on her debut at the Curragh on Saturday.

The daughter of Galileo is a full-sister to dual 1000 Guineas heroine Winter and wasn't given a hard time of things once traffic problems thwarted her chance on her racecourse bow.

Snowflakes was one of two Ballydoyle bluebloods in the field, with Clemmie - a full-sister to this year's dual 2000 Guineas hero Churchill - staying on well for third.

O'Brien said: "Donnacha (O'Brien) was very happy with his filly. It just closed up around him and he felt he went to the line on the bridle. She's obviously very smart as well.

"We could look at the Chesham and the Albany, even though they will come on from it.

"If they go to Ascot and are green, so be it, it will be good experience for them and we'll definitely look at it."
