Welcome to Independent.ie Blogs
Blogging has since become an online phenomenon, with one source suggesting that there are currently 71 million blogs published, a number which is growing all the time.
Blogs may be political, news or sports-oriented, some may comment on comment on traditional and online media, while others simply take the form of personal diaries.
Generally, blogs follow a typical format – regular postings arranged in reverse chronological order (most recent first). They also feature comments from readers and archives of older content. RSS feeds are also available so readers can keep up-to-date with the latest content from their favourite blogs.
We have developed Indepependent.ie Blogs so that our writers can share their thoughts with you, free from the constraints of writing for the newspaper. And you in turn can send your feedback and contribute to the conversation.
