Science and technology sectors are thriving and Irish students are facing choices and opportunities like never before: hundreds of third-level courses, thousands of jobs, rewarding research, start-up support for the young entrepreneur.
Science Week 2012 begins on Monday and to mark it the Irish Independent is publishing a special 20-page supplement focussing on the key skills for the smart economy: what they are, and how and where to get them.
